Simi Valley Fair and Music Festival (SVFMF) is more than a celebration and tradition. It is a major fund raising activity. As a result of the SVFMF festivities, thousands of dollars are distributed back into the community each year. This year the groups supported by SVFMF need your help more than ever, and visibility is the benefit you will receive when you help them. As a sponsor Your Company’s name could be present on promotional material distributed for months, in the parade, on stage, in press releases, and throughout the 4-day event.
Simi Valley Fair and Music Festival activities support charities and nonprofit organizations in Simi Valley including but not limited to The Boys and Girls Club of Simi Valley, Samaritan Center, Care & Share, Friends of the Library, Minor Parent Program, Council on Aging, Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Battered Women and Children, Pediatric Trauma Prevention, Muscular Dystrophy, Homeless Dinners, Boy Scout and Girl Scout Groups, Youth Sports, Local Schools and Rancho Simi Recreation and Parks Department.
The Simi Valley Days Foundation (SVDF) is a 501©3 corporation (Tax ID 77-0311172) providing the administrative skills and money so that various service organizations and charitable groups can fund raise. Many of these groups depend on these festivities for their major yearly fund raising. SVDF has no paid employees; their success depends totally upon their volunteers. Their continued success depends on the generosity of sponsors. Money generated from the event is used to cover expenses, but predominantly is distributed back into the community.
Simi Valley Fair and Music Festival provides the organizational and administrative services necessary to promote the fund raising venues and activities of its committee members. SVFMF features a variety of events such as the parade, fair, and concerts arranged for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. We expect over 30,000 to people to attend the 2011 SVFMF festivities. The festivities begin with the parade on September 24, 2011. The fair will run from September 21 through 25.
